How long before buying a toad
How long did you have a Class A motorhome before you bought a tow vehicle. I just bought a Class A but don't have a car that I can tow without a dolly. I'm not going to tow a vehicle on a dolly.

We rented three times (once per year, 2004, 2005 and 2006) before actually buying the first motorhome. During our rental days, we would reserve a car with Enterprise and that was an average experience. Sometimes they could not pick us up or delayed. They didn't always have a good choice of cars or limited choice.
So, in 2007 when we ordered our 2008 Monaco Dynasty, we purchased a 2007 Honda CR-V before we took delivery of the motorhome. I would never want to be without my own 'toad'.
Obviously '4 down' is the best but not everyone has the right car for that, so a dolly or trailer is the next choice.
