How long do you watch before you go help?

I judge each parking, hookup, etc, situation on its own. If it appears to me that a renter or other camper could use my assistance, and may be receptive if I offer it, I do so. Rarely have I been turned down. Where possible, I try to help by talking them through, rather than doing it for them, in hopes they'll retain the knowledge better for the next time. Foreign visitors do present some language challenges at times, but their limited English combined with my limited French and Spanish usually gets the job done without too much frustration, albeit sometimes with some good laughs all around.
