Lobstah, thanks for that info on the oil test, did not know that.
Are there any other specific mechanical things one should ask for when doing a third party inspection? Does the black box on these vehicles tell when they did oil changes/service? Are compression tests done on RV's?
I expect to pay for a good mechanical inspection before any purchase, and then run through the "checklist" for all other house related items.
