On our TT, each flush would consume quite a lot of water which would restrict our time in one spot. I added a restrictor to the toilet line to use less water an each flush. This worked out well and now extends our time in one spot and leaves enough fresh water for other activities.
I usually pour 5 gallons of water down the toilet just before we dump the black tank - to aid with the tank flush.
