I know one couple that had RVing on their bucket list. They bought a Class A, enjoyed it, and then after three years decided to move on to another item on their bucket list. For them it was just an adventure and once experienced they went on to their next adventure.
Another couple bought a brand new Class A in Indiana, after inspecting it at the factory. By the time they got back to Florida, they decided they were not comfortable driving it and it immediately went up for sale. They lost a bundle for their expensive learning experience.
Another couple, whom I sold our last Class A to, had decided to retire and travel the USA. They made one short trip before the husband died from a heart attack. The widow sold the RV.
