I also think when folks say "we're going to TRY it for a year to see how we like it", it really isn't a commitment. One year of full-timing will not even give you a taste of what it's really like. That's like one year of vacationing. Full-timing is actually living another lifestyle. It's not meant to be a vacation.

Also, people tend to make a lot of mistakes in the first year or two. You need to get the 'kinks' out.
