When driving my car down south: I usually do the trip of 24 hours straight through with the only stops to be for fuel and bio breaks. Sometimes when I don't feel like doing the 24 hours straight through I break it up into two days. About 18 hours on the first day and the remaining 6 the next day. We've made this trip about 15 times.
If I take our new MH down there for Christmas I was hoping to do two 12 hour days. My fear is that I wont be able to make the distance in 24 hours and it will be more like 30 due to the slower pace. If that is the case I can put a few extra hours into the first day. We will leave by 5:00 AM and I could drive until 8:00 or 10:00 that night if I need to.
