I have done as much as 900 miles a day in my '84 Trans-Am back in the late 80's when I was traveling from Bremerton to Storm Lake Ia to see my son at college, but that wasn't a lot of fun. It is amzing though as to how many places I was actually stop and see and spend some time at.
We then moved into different trailers and the last one was a32' Cougar TT pulled with an '01 PSD Excursion and I found that I could really rip off the miles in that rig. Now with the 40' MH, I tend to get out later and stop later. Of course,I looka at the folks that drive for 10-14 hours a day,or say they do, and wonder why there aren't more of them having accidents.
By law !!!!!, I couldn't drive my school bus more than 10 hours straight or ten hours in a 14 hour day. It is amazing that my 40' Thomas handled better on the highway on field trips than almost any MH I have ever driven.
