How many of you simply don't bother with hookups?

We start out with full water 100 gal. tank as one of our pets has problems with strange water. Our Black and Gray tanks are 60 gals. On an overnight stay I only hookup electric. I usually don't dump the black tank unless it is 60% or more unless I am going to a electric and water site for extended stay and no sewer hookup.

We very seldom dry camp so that is not an issue. The majority of the parks we stay in are water and electric only with a dump station, that we use when we leave.

We always hook to electricity and usually to water. We keep our fresh water tank about half full. No reason to lug around the extra weight if we are not planning to boondock. We only hook up the sewer after a few days when we need to dump. My DW likes her shower so we have to dump the grey more frequently than the black.

I was wondering; how many of you do the same thing?

if we're overnighting we'll usually just hookup to elec and cable (if available). and unless we plan on going out to dinner...something we rarely do on an overnight...we leave the toad hooked up.

..Even when we're passing through and staying just 1 night, we still hook up electricity and water, at a minimum. Any more than 1 night, and sewer gets hooked up, too (assuming our site has such).

My gang likes their 'creature comforts' waaaay too much, to do it any other way. Especially here in the South, where most times, places we camp, air conditioning is a must or you'd burn up. Also, like already said, If I'm going to pay for the convenience of those hookups, I'm going to use them. Otherwise you might as well dry camp somewhere and save yourself a good bit of $$. :)

Only time I can recall that we ever did not hook anything up was when we were 'dry camping' for a night in relative's driveway, and hookups were not an option. In that case, I had to run the generator all night to power the air conditioner. Done that a couple times and it works great, but I'd really prefer not to do that if I can avoid it.

Full hookups whenever we are camped.

We only stay at sites with full hookups and always use them all.

I don't hookup water unless I trust the parks water system. Have been to a few that seemed sketchy. I never hook up sewer unless I need to dump. Then I only stay hooked up for the few minutes it takes. There are nasty things in those sewers waiting to crawl up your sewer hose.

If I am paying for electric site you bet I am plugged into it.
Sewer, same as above only hook up when dumping right before I leave.

Two or three days on one spot, unless washing clothes we won't connect up until time to leave and refill fresh water and flush tanks. Might as well connect up day one. One night and know where the next RV park is no way I'm going to empty.
However out west we may decide to stay know knows where and there may be no connections, like Big Bend, so we empty each night and fill fresh water to the brim. Wish I had a one hundred fifty gallon tank or even two hundred. Perhaps there is someone that does this and has tanks and plumbing and knows exactly what will fit. Then bigger gray water tank. Should be able to and fifty percent maybe 100percent increase. Might have to change shocks or valving and an extrs springs on acles.

Yes. In fact two weeks ago we stayed at a "tent" site at Cape Lookout, Oregon coast. Turns out if you call ahead they allow RVs to stay at some of the tent sites.

If It don't need hookups, it's F/J or Walmart, If I pay for them, I use them.
