In my opinion the first consideration should be whether you know that the local dealer is actually a "good" dealer for service. If you don't know or cant find that out, then it is really a cr*p shoot as to whether you want them working on your coach in the first place. Even if they meet your best price, if they are local but their service is no good, you have not really gained anything. If you have a history with them and know they are good for service, then I would consider having them meet the best price.
If they have a lousy service reputation, then you want it worked on somewhere else anyway.
Lastly, if you are going to buy and then be on the road, the question of where you bought it becomes mute. If you are sticking around, then you need to know what their service reputation is.
