Me, I would paint the head of a stainless steel screw the same color as the exterior, bed it with a good sealant and move on. As already said, you have DOZENS of screw holes in the sidewalls.

The first time a gravel truck cuts in front of you, an extra rivet on the side of the coach will be the least of your appearance issues.
