I was thinking along the same lines. Screw or pop rivet. OK, its a brand new RV that you paid in the triple digits for, but in the big scheme of things, to repair it will likely do more damage than good. The chances of them matching the paint perfectly such that one cannot tell it was repaired is pretty slim, especially if it has clear coat over it. Sure the repair can be done "good", but it will never be like it never happened. A tiny rivet that matches the color will look intentional and not detract from the over all appearance.
The first time a gravel truck cuts in front of you, an extra rivet on the side of the coach will be the least of your appearance issues.
