One of the problems I found on our 2014 Thor Palazzo during our PDI was where a screw was almost to pop through the exterior wall. We come to find out that when they screwed an electrical box into the wall on the inside, apparently a screw too long was used. Just piss poor quality control IMHO. Whilst the thing was in paint and body work for all the slide out parts that had to be replaced they also fixed this.
Basically they had to sand the paint all the way down to the fiber glass, then they had to fill the hole and glass over it and sand it all back down again and repaint three different colors cause of the stripes. Oh why, oh why is it left up to the new owners to find these issues and then the manufacturer have to pay warranty work to have it fixed???? Beats the heck out of me. I think this new year we will see a whole lot more of these types of issues popping up.
The entire RV industry needs a reality check. When more states add the lemon law to RV's is when things will start to change.
