F that. You wouldn't be putting a rivet, screw bolt or what ever and painting the head of it and calling it a day if it were mine. To me it's a big deal and every time I walked by it that's were my eye would be looking. The only thing I have is time so order me another And I wouldn't care if it took 6 months to get.
This is sort of funny. My Advice to you would be to start the process now if you want a new MH sometime in the next 3-5 years.
A small hole in the exterior is a VERY minor problem that can be fixed in not time at all. There are many more meaningful things to worry about on a MH.
Thanks for your advice but I would never buy a new RV and when I go to look at this used Moho with a rivet, screw or bolt head sticking out in the middle of nowere I'd walk.
You say very minor and easy fix in no time at all. Care to share?? I have done a little paint work here and there and it won't be quick, easy or cheap.
Soon after my brand new MH was delivered I found a whole in the side wall about 3 ft above the fridge just behind the awning rail, looked like a corner of something hit it and perforated the sidewall. Rather than freak out and chase the dealer for a discount OR try and return the MH I filled the hole with wurth bond and seal and smoothed it off. That was 7 years ago and its not easy to find it today.
A new MH is used as soon as its driven off the lot and will get dings here and there from all sorts of stuff. Just roll with it and fix them properly as they occur.
please do not clutter this thread with common sense.
thanks,
