How to change fuel filter?
Can anyone tell me how to change the fuel filter on my Cummins ISC 8.3 engine. Difficulty, etc. Looks like it would be fairly easy.

I have changed hundreds of filters without a problem..First take new filter and prime filter by filling it with fuel from a clean gallon jug.. Put a thin coating of grease on the gasket.. Remove old filter however you prefer, I use a large pair of channel locks... Some fuel will drip so use a catch pan.. Install new filter by tightening it as tight as you can with your bare hands.. Do not use a tool to tighten.. Start it up and drive away...
I agree as this is how I do mine and nary a problum.Just make sure U prefill the filter fully.or as in my case both filters pri and sec
