My rules for haggling. Know what you are talking about. It's hard to make a point if you are making it up. Before I make an offer I point out what's wrong with the piece or why it may not work for me.Don't be too excited about the purchase. Take breaks and walk away from the seller and contemplate. Be relaxed, no rush. It's not the only unit out there. Offer low, once the shock wears off and you start raising your price the seller will feel better. Be polite, he's selling a unit not a child. Walk away if you have to, take a lunch break. Be informed, first and foremost.Who cares what he paid or what he added on, it's worth a certain amount and that's it. I live in Ca. and purchased my coach in Minnessota and it was well worth it.
