1. TURN OFF THE INVERTER! There is NO reason to have the Inverter ON when in for service. Leaving the Inverter ON will just cause your coach batteries to go dead in a few days.
2. Most Residentials have a specific sequence for completely turning them OFF. The reason is simple, IF you had to turn the refer ON each time you powered the RV up, then in a 120 power Interuption, you would ALWAYS have to make sure you turned the refer back ON to prevent food spoilage. SAME concept for your HOME refer.
3. You usually have to push at least 2 buttons and hold for so many seconds to turn the refer OFF.
4. READ the refer owners manual, it will tell you how to turn it OFF and ON. BUT, this is a foreign concept for lots of people especially RV owners:S Doug
