How to re charge roof ac
So 1 of my roof ac's feel a little weak after running awhile. How hard is it to recharge the roof top? Can you buy a kit to do it myself? How do you know when it is full? Thanks for help.

RV roof top AC units are not able to be charged without brazing in brass fill valves. They are sealed systems. IF you suspect low coolant charge, then IF it leaks you have to find and solder the area that is cracked. There are procedures that can test a RV roof AC unit that will determine if the AC charge is correct. They only hold 1 lb of Freon/410. Doug
