If you buy an RV, how do you tell what year the tires were manufactured?

I use the age of the tire numbers when I go into to get new tires. I will only buy new tires that are only 6 months or less old. Some tire dealers have been know to try and convince you that a tire thats was mfg. i.e 1 1/2 to 2 yrs. ago is perfectly safe:( Do your own checking before you let them put on the tires.
