I'd use jumper cables from a 12V car battery and put the positive to the large cable going to the motor after the solenoid.
Thanks. I was thinking the same, but I think the PG motor/pump is fried. I used my DVM and measured 0ohms from the post of the motor/pump to the ground on the motor/pump. That's telling me that is a direct short through the motor/pump.
When the problem happened, I lost all my 12v in the front of the RV to the "BCC" like the main disconnect was off (no wipers, power seat, 12v outlet, etc). I could hear the "MD" trying to reset itself and as soon as I removed the cable between the solenoid and motor/pump, the power came back to my BCC. I'm waiting to hear back from the PG tech's, but I'm 99.9% sure I'm going to have to have the motor rebuilt on the PG unit.
I know water caused the problem, but I don't know if it was the solenoid that got moisture in it to short, or if the PG control unit got moisture to make the solenoid close and the kept motor running until it fried, then fried the solenoid. What a problem to have and troubleshoot..
