How to wax the cab hangover

It is a 2011 I bought used last year.

I scrap once in a while with my 23 foot.
But never the bumper.
I have an idea your rear overhang is more than mine.
You should post a picture of your driveway at the BF Forum and ask for suggestions.

I became a Born Free owner just a few days ago. I actually drove it home (CA) from Tucson, AZ. What a great RV! I feel safe in it, it has lots of room, is comfortable (now that I purchased a 3" mattress topper for the couch bed!), is easy to drive.

My only problem was that I bottomed out where my driveway "meets the road". The little wheels did their job, but I still "hurt" the bottom of my bumper...not a lot, just a scratch. I spoke with Born Free and they sent me pictures of other wheels and suggested that the little wheels on mine be moved towards the rear bumper and even offered to pay part of it (they suggested I have it done at CW)!! I hope this works!

It's the underside of the cabover that's the hard part.

What I used to do doesn't work anymore. Friends of mine had two teenage daughters that weighed about 50 lbs. each and thought that $20 was big bucks. They could stand on the hood without leaving dents. Alas, they're both away in college now, so I'm trying to come up with a plan 'B'. I tried to get my friends to keep a couple of kids in the pipeline about 5 years apart, but they nixed the idea. :)

I have had a lot of hangovers but never a cab hangover. I will get back to you after I think about it.

I posted the same question a few weeks ago. In the end, I wrote a check to a detailing shop. :)

I have a multi-position ladder that makes a 4' high, 8' long scaffold. I do place it up on some 6" blocks to get clearance between bottom of ladder and cab hood. I can reach all the way to where rubber roof and cap meet.

I use same ladder to go down sides and around back to reach high sections then come back doing lower sections.

If I'm just doing a quick wash, I use a telescoping paint roller pole with car wash brush attached.

Two step ladders and a 10 foot 2x12 plank. Just don't tell OSHA.

To wax my trailers UPPER spots, I just place some blankets on the trucks bed rails, then a plank or too, over the protected areas, thus i have a 10 foot plus reach to those hard to reach spots. been doing this method now for years.
