Interesting about Rice Ranch....like you have noted, full hook-ups at Rice are fairly reasonable too. WE stayed at the "now" KOA in Salome only because it is part of Thousand Trails and its free(not free in the real world) but no cost to stay. Hook-ups are nice, no doubt and I haven't experimented enough with the Residential Reefer to know how it would go boon-docking....maybe after I get some Solar I'll give it a go again.
