Had my fridge fail in April. Got a replacement cooling unit. Had the ARP control installed at the same time. So far I am seeing boiler temperatures around 350°. According to the place where my fridge was repaired most failures are because of overheating boilers. Next winter will be our test when it will be used constantly for 6 months.
I believe that it is some added protection to shut the cooling unit down if high temperatures are detected. Should cut down on the chance of a fire.
