Ace Is The Place With The Helpful Hardware Man.
Try getting the parts from there. Bring one of each sample with you. If the clip is simple in design, it might be made by bending a tiny bracket sold off the shelf. Springs are sold individually in Ace's Hillman hardware bins & drawers that look like this. Some Ace Hardware stores have more than one isle full (both sides of isle) of what you see below. Metric, standard, coarse thread, fine thread, steel, stainless, hardend steel, metal hardware, plastic hardware, strange bolts, lots of unique specialty parts. Most stores place them in their respective department, not all hardware in one isle, but spread throughout the store. For example, you might find the clip in the window & door hardware department.
