HURRICANE COMING
We have hurricane Florence on the way with 140 mph winds. Is it recommended to put the jacks down or keep the up? Thanks for any help from someone who has road one of the out. Bob

I live in FL. To answer the question, I always brought the jacks up and slides in, during bad storms or if high winds predicted. I rather have the rv rock on the frame suspension and tires then rock with the jacks down and the jacks being pounded with the rocking motion.
Don't know your personal reasons why you can't leave, not for me to know, but with a Cat 4 coming in.... I would be GONE. We had mandatory evacuation here in my park with Irma last year, but I already had my reservations in GA, 2 weeks prior. Gas and sites were hard to get. Never saw anything like it in the 63 years I have lived in FL.. Central Gulf side.
