HWH auto levelling system question.

Hey peoples, we have a 40 foot 91 fleetwood bounder MH. It has the touchpad HWH auto levelling system on it.

The jacks seem to work fine but on the back 2 jacks the little wires are broken where they go into some sort of sensor.

Ive tried googling this issue but what are those sensor things for and where do i find replacements at?

Gordon
  • The pressure switches on the SIDE bottom of the HWH cylinders are required to operate in Auto leveling mode. Those pressure switches tell the system when each jack has touched the ground. They are not needed with manual leveling. So, if you want the system to function in Auto level mode you need to replace the defective switches. Doug
  • they are kick downs, not sure the model on them though.

i'll post a picture tomorrow when the suns out.

Do you have the kick down jack series 200? If so they sound like a Mercury switch that tells the light on the dash that the jacks are up and the jack lights go off. It could be just the ground wire that is hanging. There is a small screw that screws into the jack to hold the ground wire in place.
  • i do see that they are threaded into the side of the cylinder so i have no idea.

those are the sensors that indicate that the jacks are fully retraced I do beleive

i emailed them a few days ago, no response as of yet.

i think they are pressure sensors, im gonna pull one off tomorrow and see if i can resolder the wires back on.

    try phoning them on monday.
