Sometimes if you get gunk on the cylinders they won't retract you will have to get a clean rag and clean them (do not use any silicone or oil spray to clean them my HWH manual says that it is a no no)! I you have a week return spring that could be a cause. I had the same problem last year and had to replace one jack because it was slightly bent (I still don't know how that happened because my coach is never moved until there retracted) and I can't remember if I could have hit something on the road (recap from a semi or road debris?
