HWH series 200 pump motor runs but jacks and slide dont move

I have a 1996 Winnebago Adventurer Class A motorhome. The HWH system (Series 200) has been flaky for sometime now, working sometimes other times not so much. Jacks would go down but slide would not move at times. I was pulling in slide and it slowed very slow and stopped completely. Checked and the pump motor was not running (Fenner Fluld Power motor) replaced motor and now the motor runs but nothing moves. I have checked the fluid and it is above the bottom line on the dipstick. Could this indicate it's the shuttle valve fail? Help please.

John

  • The original motor did not have a negative terminal. So rotation was not a question when replacing. But, IF you have 2 studs on the motor, you need to make sure the rotation when connecting. Kind of hard to do. So the only way to determine is what the OP had to do, REVERSE the wires to change rotation. Power Extend and Power Retract jacks have this kind of motor. The motor reverses rotation from the switch to retract the jacks and then changes direction to extend the jacks. Doug

These motors can be reversed, be certain the motor is turning the correct rotation.

  • Just looked at the motor stats on Amazon is listed the motor as CCW rotation.
