The above link gives you an interactive map of all the highway construction projects in Iowa. Looks like several on I-80 including a westbound bridge replacement and installation of median barricades west of Des Moines. Don't have actual experience with delays.
Thank you Hayden, hoping someone might have been that route in the last few days. I saw the highway report and like I wrote it doesn't look good in Iowa.
