I-81 Tenn to Duffield Va

In August I need to make a trip to Harvest Childrens Home to lend some assistance. the childrens home is located about 8 miles outside of Duffield , Virginia. I have Winnebago Adventurer with the V10 ford engine, My unit is 36 feet long. The question is, has anyone driven the route from I-81 thru Kingsport,Tenn using 23 w to duffield and 58 w toward my location. The Mountain directory east shows some severe grades between Jonesville and Duffield, Virginia (7-8% for 3 miles east and west several times).

    Been that route several times. There is one grade just out of Duffield on 58 that is almost three miles long. It is not a problem for anyone experienced with driving in mountains. Just gear down (up AND down the grades) and enjoy the wonderful scenery. The road is wide. Do not speed or you may get to autograph a ticket.
