I don't get why many more FREDS aren't offered.

In the last 15-20 years, it's quite common to find a diesel in a 3/4 ton or 1 ton Ford or GM truck. No big deal. But on the other hand we have these big heavy class A rigs built on the F53 or workh...

I think it was because the first freds were Cummins engines before they became as quiet as they are now. The new generation engines are quieter than a gas engine nowadays.
