I don't get why many more FREDS aren't offered.

In the last 15-20 years, it's quite common to find a diesel in a 3/4 ton or 1 ton Ford or GM truck. No big deal. But on the other hand we have these big heavy class A rigs built on the F53 or workh...

I like the FREDs but not as much as a dp.

But in reality they just did not sell well.

I can not comment on the noise, but you can add an after market air ride system to a gas or fred relatively cheap so they make sense as an option to me.
