I use this silver reflective bubble stuff on my windows to keep the sun out in the summer and the cold out in the winter.I have to replace the front carpet. Can I use this bubble stuff under my carpet...

Dynamat is another kind of product- what Dynamat does is convert sound vibration movements into heat by friction within the material- It is not a closed-cell type material as you might want for thermal insulation.
and it's expensive.
a reflective foil barrier may help ( think space blankets)- and for the cost, I think that this would be a good experiment. especially if the padding or carpet protects the cells from breaking down.
