I own a Thor and am very happy with it and happy with their customer service. That said it's bottom of the line and you'd be hard pressed to find a cheaper class A. So far no real issues to speak of and Thor has been great. Thor's target market is budget. Not sure how other operations work but the gas line is not paid by the hour, it's but how many coaches they roll out in a week. The DP line is a little different but many are gas houses on Freightliner chassis. Sure they have the Tuscanny but it still has a TPO roof and a few other lower quality areas and it's evident when comparing to the same offerings of Newmar, FR, FW, and Winnie. But you get what you pay for. The real black eye for Thor right now is the Palazzo. Some of those are a mess (do a search here). Like others have said, many Thor/Damon owners here and they love them. I love mine, but if I ever find myself to be more picky as opposed to getting what I can afford, it will not be a Thor. I will look for better quality. Of the units you are looking at from your other post, the other brands are to be more recommended. It's as simple as that. Someone has to be the budget RV and someone has to be the best. Most are opinions but culminate the opinions and you start to see trends. Newmar is high, Thor is low. Everyone else is in between.
