You really need to get her out in a Motorhome so she can get a feel for how it would be. Lots of folks have a misconception that the MHs are cramped and tough to get the homey feel.

Like others you need to rent a nice large MH with slideouts and take it for a few weekend trips at first then a week to 2 week long trip. Stay in a luxury RV resort so she can get the full effect with all the amenities. Don't boondock until she's had some experience with full hookups.
