I got my first motorhome when I was 40, but I had always wanted one. My wife is what kept me from getting one before that. She didn't like them for a number of reasons. Too small, not comfortable, rather be in a hotel, etc.. Then I convinced her to let me rent one for a week. We did and went down to the Grand Canyon and all over that area. Actually had it for 10 days. Then she was hooked and the next year we got one. Now she doesn't like to travel if we have to go stay in a hotel. She only wants to go places if we can go in the motorhome. That is with the exception of Hawaii, can't take the motorhome there so she tolerates the time share we have there.
