We both feel "at Home" at either place. When doing a long (three mos. or more) the MH begins to be more HOME that the S&B. Personal decorations make it even more so. Just treat it like any other home, with mods and decorations however you feel like. There is nothing that says that a RV has to stay in factory-fresh appearance. It can be your part-time home, so make it your own. Unless you get really extreme, it will enhance the value, both for you and for possible resale.
