Little different in we already had trailers but I wanted a motorhome from the start. My DW humored me through the years as I changed trailers, cab over camper and into her dream a 40" FW. DW loves to travel but tends to enjoy the camp part more than the sight see part.
As I pushed for a MH she fought me every step of the way. Too much money, too small, too noisy and the list went on. I finally convinced her it was financially in the cards and she agreed to go and look at one I had found. Bad idea, she walked in and pointed out every reason why it wasn't going to work.
So I regrouped and waited for the next opportunity. In the meantime I took a mental note of all the things she had in the FW. Bingo I had her. Next MH I went and looked at first and then convinced her to take a look. Prior to going I grabbed a few pictures, a couple hand towels, and a few trinket souvenirs she proudly had on display so I could put them in the MH we were looking at. She just needed a little nudge to reassure herself she could make it her own. Now five years later she has it decorated just as nice as our stick and brick or any of the previous RVs.
