What really made RVing for us was when we connected with a local group and planning weekend trips together. Having a group of weekend friends to camp with sealed the deal for both of us. We still solo the summer trips. Hard to coordinated taking two to three weeks off and wanting to go to the same places with might include distant family visits. What also makes RVing special is when you can open the door in the morning and your view is Lake Superior. Haven't found a hotel comparable.

Concerning thinking of a coach as a home, well for us its more along the lines of transportation and lodging to faraway places and the majority of the time we spend physically inside the coach is sleeping, unless the weather turns.
