When I returned the Palazzo back to CW yesterday I also noticed an issue with the smaller bedroom slide on the other side of the coach. It does not fully retract on the bottom. One can put your entire hand under the slide in between the weatherstrip and the outside wall. The problems just keep mounting up.
I think we all know, including Thor, that the Schwintek motors and mechanism is just not enough to operate these large and small slide outs. One observation I have made is that the problems become increasingly worse in the cold. These slide units with the rubber weatherstrips become very hard in the cold. The low torque motors and poor components that make up the schwintek stuff were just not made for that kind of load, especially when things are hard and cold. I am beside myself. I am not an engineer and I can figure that one out.
