All slides are fragile open end boxes and if the are out of adjustment will bind and if power to the slide isn't stopped will jamb. I know you think it's bad but the coach frame is no doubt fine and the slide can be repaired and adjusted which is what they will do. You'll be mad but they aren't replacing the entire coach for this. It can be easily fixed. Thor isn't my choice , ( see my previous post) but the sell thousands of these and obviously didn't use care in adjusting many of them. Ill guarantee all of them don't have your problem .. More than they should but not all.
I'd be mindfull , as we all should to carefully watch the slide as it goes in or out ready to stop as soon as the twisting begins .. Hopefully not again for you ;-) hang in there ALL. New MH have issues .. That's why many suggest never buying a new coach .. Let someone else work out the kinks. Strap in cause you'll find more frustration in the next year if your typical.
