You replace BOTH sides as a unit and then push the room till the outer flanges are flush to the outer wall. You then install your side flange screws and operate the room. Once the room moves, the shipping/alignment rivets shear off. I would like to know what LCI thinks of what the Thor rep did. Doug
They replaced the entire mechanism on both sides of the slide. He re-riveted the entire Schwintek boxes back into the wall. The steel welded rod is how they came.
