The OP needs to KEEP THE INTERNET updated on this. I hope they just allow you to get another one under FULL warranty.
This would mean that they need to SCRAP the entire deal & refund, and let you choose if you will buy from them again.
If they don't there are hundreds of potential buyers who will see this. Everybody should email this thread to thor & thor dealers.
If they give you a namby pamby "well we'll fix this one under warranty" blah blah blah, they are giving you the run around.
I'd be curious your price tag.
Slide died in one week. First Camping trip out. To top it off the hot water heater did not work either. This is on top of a 25 item punch list. I can live with the small stuff. EVERY single new RV has problems. But This slide issue is on the extreme.
$167,000 was the OTD price. Thor comment and I "Thor Motor Coach being a publicly traded company will stand behind its product and we will not offer you a refund or a replacement unit". This tread has had 7,179 views. Somebody is watching. I just don't know if CW or Thor is.
There's another gentleman over on youtube that had MAJOR Schwintek issues with his 2013 36.1. Just search "Do not buy Palazzo" and you will find it. Thor offered him a replacement. He turned it down and traded out for another manufacturer. I feel sorry for who gets that 36.1.
