Sorry to chime in so late, but I've stayed off line trying to keep from letting my alligator mouth from over riding and biting my canary rear. I'm feeling your pain as well. Roughly 30k of pain. As I've posted previously on this forum, of the 5 months I owned a 2014 Thor Daybreak XD34, it spent 4 1/2 months of that ownership in the CW shop here in Vegas having various major repairs done the the slide, the Schwintek tracks and motors and body damaged that was done at the factory prior to shipping it. Ultimately, the slide was installed out of square, so the side wall had to be cut to square and refit the slide, the slides had to be replaced as they had been damaged by the misaligned slide. The body had been damaged at the factory. The screws that hold the front cabinets in place had been run through the front fiberglass cap and the passenger side mirror had a cracked head and base. I was told it was transit damage until I and the body man who did the repair found touch up over spray in the cracks of it and where the cabinets screws came through the body. When it was finally declared repaired, the motors that operate the slide still did not sound correct to me and the front of the slide seated prior to the rear and just the opposite, so, in disgust, I literally dumped the unit at a 30k plus loss for another unit.
