I was considering the Palazzo myself but heard about the slide problems. I called Thor and spoke to the SE regional sales manager who assured me that the 2014 models were corrected.
He told me that they fixed the problems by using steel shafts and adding rollers under the slide.
Are you telling us that you have the steel shafts and rollers and you still had this problem? If so, I will avoid Palazzo until the problem is corrected once and for all.
