To some politicians, every day is April 15th. - Mile_HighExplorerThat's nice, especially right before a holiday!
- down_homeExplorer IIWe paid 186 for regular two days ago.
We saw diesel for less than 2.00 somewhere the same day but doubt you could get a coach into the station.
Diesel was 2.23 in Clarksville, Indiana Saturday, last rest of the state near the Interstate was sky high.
Going to Myrtle Beach last month we filled up coach for a bit over 46.00 at an Exxon Station using a Plenty card with points on it.
On way to Ashville NC up 26, in SC we paid 1.87 for diesel. - wildmanbakerExplorer

Won't happen in Washington State we have some of the highest fuel taxes in the U.S. were in the top 5. Shouldn't be that way since we process most of the crude oil coming from Alaska's North Slope. Our State politicians starting with our Governor on down can't stay within the reins of financial responsibility so they raise are fuel taxes and sick the Washington State Patrol on there own citizens to write as many violations as possible to make up the shortfalls. The WSP wrote over 1 million traffic tickets (mostly speeding) on I-5 in Fife, WA. (according to KING 5 News) My neighbor who is a State Trooper told me he dislikes having to make up this short fall. I'm very happy for all of you RVers who pay low fuel prices.
2nd highest fuel taxes in the Continental US. We 3rd highest overall taxes in the nation. What happened to the flat rate auto license of $30 we voted in a few years ago? - rgatijnet1Explorer IIIOne thing that always comes with low gas prices are the greedy politicians that see an opportunity to increase taxes. I just read where New Jersey is going to approve a 23 cent a gallon INCREASE in their fuel tax. Expect more States to do the same if the fuel prices stay low.
Of course lower fuel prices usually mean that people travel more and buy more fuel, which puts more tax money in the coffers. Apparently that is NEVER enough for some politicians. - J-RoosterExplorerWon't happen in Washington State we have some of the highest fuel taxes in the U.S. were in the top 5. - AvaExplorerWe just got home from a trip through western USA and paid about $2.50 a gallon most places. Comparing our price of diesel on Vancouver Island Canada, our litres works out to about $ 4.25 gallon! If travelling into Canada be prepared to pay a lot more for fuel these days.
- Kayteg1Explorer II3 weeks ago in Ohio paid $1.99 for diesel without much seeking.
California goes about $2.40 now.
I fill up diesel every 2-3 weeks, so don't have feeling if that is location, or crude price change.
Than my California friends had to make some money transfer to UK.
Thanks to the market they save over $1000 overnight. - Bill_SatelliteExplorer IIJust paid $1.96 here in Houston for regular. Diesel is priced pretty close at some of the stations.
- midnightsadieExplorer IIyes cheap fuel but the stock market took a huge hit.
