I wonder what happened???
Today on I 30 near Texarkana we were passed by a semi towing a flatbed trailer with a 40ish foot dp on it. The motorhome had a blown right rear tire and the interior was badly burned

- One destroyed just east of Albany, NY, yesterday. Reportedly, a brake fire. clickie
- We passed a Class A on the side of I40 in New Mexico with a blown left front tire. No crash no fire, everyone OK. I think I saw the driver shaking the **** out of his pants leg though!
- Engine/driveline fires are the most common while underway. Hard to say if the blown tire was related to the origin or a result of the fire.
