Regular gas with 10% ethanol is $3.29/gallon and recreational gas (no ethanol) is $3.57/gallon today. This is 42 cents/mile with rec gas @ 8.5 mpg and 43 cents/mile with 10% @ 7.5 mpg. I can find 10% any where and you usually have to search for rec gas. I also run 10% in all my garden equipment and boat with no adverse issues. If you can prove with actual numbers that rec gas will improve your mileage significantly I would like to see the proof. Saying that 10% produces less energy is fine but show me what it actually does result in worse mileage in a real world situation.
