You can automate the whole system using a sub panel and a transfer switch. I prefer not to.
I have an outlet in the shore power storage box that is powered by the inverter. When I disconnect from shore power--I simply plug into that outlet.
I have my converter unplugged. I reset the fridge to propane when boondocking but when driving I often power it via the inverter.
My goal is different than yours. I wished my rv to appear to be on shore power 24/7.
Since you do not boondock, I would, in your shoes, install dedicated inverter powered outlets for the entertainment system. I'd plug the items in and always power them from the inverter.
Someone worked out that powering the fridge via propane is about $1.00 per day. Doing a subpanel and transfer switch has a long pay back period.
I would either go with a 300 watt psw unit--or a much larger 3000 watt unit from Magnum.
