I can certainly agree with Two Jayhawks on close quarters on a rainy day. However DW and I don't mind the 36 feet, now that we have opposing living room slides. This means the living room is 12 by 18 - including the kitchen and dining area. It is a substantial space for us. (we lived for many years in a house with a 2ox30 lr and a similar sized den with a total width of 90 feet so we know how to live in large spaces too). I can tell you our former coach, also a 36' had only one lr slide and it did get cozy when the rains were biblical or the snow began to fly.
