Do you have diesel now? If so it sound like you would like another one...if not it sounds like you would want to get one. Right now I am leaning in that direction for several reasons. Not for fuel price.Here on the east coast diesel is about .30 more
Yes I have a diesel pusher with the Caterpillar 3126-E engine. It has been a very good engine for us with plenty of power. I average around nine miles per gallon. But before I used to have a 36' gasoline motorhome with the Ford V-10, and it used to get around nine miles per gallon of gasoline. The reason why I traded in the gasoline for the diesel is because the ride is like day and night difference. Also the cross winds do not bother you much with the heavier coach.
